I've been on O`ahu for about a week and have discovered there is a serious pineapple shortage right now; fresh pineapples are hard to find in both the wholesale membership and grocery stores and what little that can be found is poor in quality. I went to the Costco in Iwilei this past Tuesday (they are stocked each Tuesday and Friday) at 9:40 am and they had only received 10 cases that day and had sold out within minutes.
