We had the same. Have a cash booking out in C, return in Y, booked as separate tickets. When I booked on Saturday I placed a bid for 6000 for the return flight (min bid was 5k). Went into my partners booking a couple days later, his min bid was 13k and mine now has same message.
So my flight which I bid for an upgrade is tomorrow (bid deadline). I’ve still not changed mine, and bid 6k. It does say however in MMB - ‘upgrade to PLUS’ - so will see what happens. I expect to be unsuccessful but for my partner I’ve bid 13k as lowest was that or 12k. We have fairly expensive econ tickets so not sure if that’s a factor. Both golds.
