Okay an interesting data point here.
I also bought a physical gift card online on the 29th.
I received the gift card on the 2nd.
The charge was pending until the 2nd - then it posted, back-dated to the 29th.
My tracker updated to 75 USD used so far, 0 USD so far for this quarter on the 2nd, indicating that it used the credit for last quarter.
I received a 75 USD credit backdated to the 29th today.
So physical gift card bought online worked on the 29th and backdated to date of purchase, credit granted back to day of purchase.
Guess I'll go ahead and buy another one!
