Bizarre email from Southwest - offer to change my flight a week in advance

Never seen this one before.

On Friday the 10th, I have a nonstop flight scheduled (ATL-MCI for what it's worth). I just received an email offering a $30 travel voucher only if I change to the same flight on a different day.

I had to reread the email a couple of times - maybe they meant $300? (which would still be comically low for this ask) Maybe this was one of those "hey we expect bad weather in Atlanta so we're giving you a waiver on changes." But this is definitely NOT that email - I've gotten it many times before - and it never mentions the flights you have to rebook to, just the date range affected.

I'm guessing my flight is already oversold, for which I might listen to $300-500 and rebooking to a different itin the same day. (There are many, many options, all available.) But they specifically didn't offer that: just flights on other days. I've flown out of Atlanta on late night flights - they usually are not full, and definitely not on a Friday night at 8:45PM.

This just seems like a bizarre way to fish for volunteers. Maybe they find someone who was already wanting to stay in Atlanta an entire extra day (or three), but it seems unlikely.

Has anyone else received these? The $30 voucher is the most laughable part. It would have made more sense to just send me an email offering a free change to get me off the oversold flight.
