Still waiting to board EI 168. Three gate charges. Get to gate. Shows the previous EI166. Even though it’s gone. Then the gate changes to 301. But that’s going to Gran Canaria. I ask the gate staff to clarify. They refuse to make an announcement. Then we’re told by announcement it is 301. Even though it’s not. An immediate announcement follows from 301 to say it’s going to Spain.

Finally they announce we’ll be boarding once the Gran Canaria plane goes. But only after being shouted at and a J class passenger getting very irritated indeed after a ten hour flight here. And that’s only the short version.

Staff at both gates were disgraceful today. This had nothing to do with the weather. The lack of information was appalling. I am livid. And I’m still on the ground.
