Just to clarify the context: I am fairly well experienced in this field. Therefore it was triple-weird that the TK agent insisted yesterday that e.g. AMS-IST in K would give smth around 800 status miles, irrespectively of what the calculator shows. Moreover, note that nothing in the calculator says exactly how much status miles one would get, instead there is a vague phrase "status miles will be earned".
