How crowded would T2 security be on a weekday afternoon? Have a flight in early December on the BA824 at 1510h, I'll be in the city centre for a medical appointment (can't change the timing) until 12:20pm then I'll head straight to T2 on the aircoach or Dublin express. Will probably just do half an hour in the lounge before boarding.
You'll likely be at the airport about 2 hours before your flight then ( which is earlier than most people on the flight will probably be and certainly twice as early as I'd ever be
) ... It's pretty unlikely to take more than 15 mins to clear security without Fast Track ( T2 tends to be quieter in the afternoon after the bulk of the transatlantic flights , but on the other hand they'll have less lanes open ) .. you can see the wait times on the dublinairport.com website, they're pretty accurate .. I really wouldn't worry at all
