I have to admit I agree and not a fan of it.
It doesn’t irritate me; I’m neutral in a way on it in the sense it doesn’t affect if I book BA or not, but I actually don’t want to be BA’s best mate, I actually quite like a formal, some-might-say-corporate feel as it feels more classy to me.
Obviously it’s not the vibe BA are currently going for though. I sense they are heading more for the Virgin Atlantic way of doing things, being a bit more fun.
I do not like that.

The fact that the new BA Club seems to be specifically targeted towards corporate customers while their onboard vibe is very clearly not, seems a little odd.
