When they walked up to the cashier, the guy asked if they were buying gift cards. The second question was if the amount was $75. The customer asked how did he know. He replied, that’s what every one has been buying all day.
I can’t imagine this being sustainable without Lululmon tweaking this somehow in the near future.

Neither is profitable because the design is flawed.
yes. we will need to see how amex and LLL reacts to the current consumer behavior. TBD.
amex def should not be surprised. but LLL has zero experience.
this is why i spammed this thread about this topic. while saks credit is still around without massive clawbacks, im not sure amex is OK w/ constant GC buying. def not the intended behavior.
and at least for me, i know the saks staff in SCAL in bev hills and south coast plaza hated seeing me despite not being busy. hopefully not repeated at LLL.
