Like you I had shifted a lot of flying to another airline (UA) as the partner devaluations had really upset me. This new development is interesting but "later in 2026" could well mean December. I am also not so sure this is going to stick as it obviously makes flying partners far more attractive than flying Alaska itself.
The uncertainty really is bad. No real timelines so everything is just up in the air. Feels like they rolled this all out way too soon in order to get the CC sales rolling.
