Yes, you can add KTN to your booking prior to check-in, I do so every time. It can be done at the same place you enter passport and address Information.
Curiously, my booking does not have a passport information area. Under the "Travelers" section, there is Contact Information, Frequent Flyer Program, Assistance, and E-ticket number; drilling down on any of these options does not lead to passport or KTN fields for entry. Is this because the booking is a DL award? In any case, I'll wait for OLCI to see if additional options become available.
