It's a hard one to say to be honest.

My colleague booked into same hotel as me, but as she doesn't collect the points she put my VIP number in the booking.

We both checked in together, and she did have a room upgrade, as well as given the free drinks tokens, but that might also have been down to the person on reception making a mistake too.

In the end I didn't get the points or the stay added to my account.
