Now, whenever I stay at CDG, I always book the Sheraton. I have special feelings for this hotel, for years I've passed by its door when exiting the station (I'm French and always lived in Paris) and always promised to myself that, the day will come I will sleep here. Now that day has long passed, after a few trips here, I can guarantee you that there is absolutely nothing exceptional on this property, but still I love it: I love eating at the airside Ladurée restaurant the day before my flight, dropping off my bags with Air France so that I don't have them on departure day, I the love the view of the runways from the rooms, I love the club lounge (so few club levels in France). For what it's worth, I close my eyes when I pay the bill and I am happy.
