It's early days yet of course but what I see for F pricing on the LHR-JNB-LHR route over the next 10 months is most strange: for every one of the next 10 months, including the current one, fares of approx £5k are available (A class). From August 2026 however, the lowest fares jump to a preposterous £17.5k (F class). I don't remember seeing such a thing before, certainly on this route. Would it be reasonable to assume that in time this situation might change, with A class becoming available? Even given the dearth of direct options from LHR on the route, I cannot see many passengers, corporate or otherwise, paying such a crazy amount.
