Platinum

A very nice handwritten welcome note, some macarons and two iced coffee drinks.

Platinum recognition was excellent, not least when you consider this is an Ibis - and apart from the welcome drink, they didn't have to offer anything. They upgraded me to a really nice room with a huge balcony, and let me use the pool, gym and sauna at the Novotel next door for free. They also had a wide range of welcome drinks to choose from.

I couldn't fault a thing (apart from the shower gel/shampoo Ibis use which always gives me a horrible allergic reaction) and highly recommend this hotel. Having just spent approximately two months in various Accor hotels (I will try and update this thread in the near future with the range of welcome gifts received during that period!), this Ibis could teach a few of the more premium brands a thing or two!
