- Hot water in higher floors still take a while to come to temperature.
- Lobby floor renovated
- WiFi still horrendous. While speed is an ok 15mpbs, the response times are horrible making browsing simple pages hit or miss.
- When it was a Hyatt, the breakfast buffet/lounge were behind the fireplace. That has been repurposed.
- Elite breakfast still a buffet and is in the HUB where the restaurant/bar used to be.
- Hours are 6:30-10:00
- Buffet is similar except omelet and carved meat stations are gone.
- Coffee still weak
- Lounge is up a hallway where the pool table was and still is. Smaller than lounge when it was a Hyatt. Smaller spread.
- The area between pool table and the elevator has been turned into restaurant Bivouac.
I endorse this assessment : nice hotel in general with some weak points, the main being the breakfast being not so great compared to Europe (but better than US breakfast). Not that the choices are bad, they are just limited and never changes. The bagels are not good which is a shame considering they could just outsource them from St Viateur. Coffee is weak indeed.
Wifi was good, not problem at all. No upgrade as Gold but the hotel was full indeed. The lift situation is annoying but not bad.
Overall the location and quality of the room makes up for the default.
