For info of the Ulti community flying to HKG : you likely know that there is a possibility to enroll in the e-channel programme to be able to use them like HK residents. This is attached to your passport. You can enroll when you arrive in HKG, just after having passed immigration and before going into the bagage claim area. You can enroll if you have an history of frequently going to HK (>3 or 4) or if you have a status in a FFP or airline serving HKG. I have enrolled in this program for quite some time now on my previous 2 or 3 passports. I just had a new passport and stopped at the enrollment office to register my new passport in the system, showing my FB Ultimate card. You probably guess where I'm going to... The agent has a file with an image of all FFP status cards eligible and, for AFKL, they don't have the Ulti card so they declined my request. AFKL HK didn't update the HK immigration services when Ulti became a separate tier .
