Exhausted and out of options [refund of baggage charges]
Hi there, really just looking If anyone has any suggestions for me at this point.
I flew in August with 2 friends, I have BA gold, the flights were booked via BA holiday, on AA metal. All were on the reservation, our confirmation said 2 checked bags pp, at the airport AA said there was no checked bags and I had to pay 500$, I paid and didn’t fight as I had literally the exact same issue a year ago with the exact same circumstances and BA refunded me promptly, after raising the case. I have been trying since august 4th to get a refund, called ba holiday, told to email, email, get denied on email and right another one proving them undeniably wrong. They are 1000% in the wrong and refusing accountability, my emails are going unanswered and I'm out of options at this point, so if anyone can possibly give me a phone number at BA that has an ounce of authority, or do I just file a credit card charge back and a DOT complaint? I really appreciate any advice, thanks.
