Yes, I did some more digging and the
2015 thread also didn't list DFW-PHX as an exception. Seems like it never was an exception, but pmAA did serve meals prior to the huge 9/1/2014 changes. (Interesting how we're now 11 years away and AA's meal service has, more or less, evolved since 9/1/2014, to the point where it's similar to pmAA, especially on 2200+ mile flights with printed menus/sundaes. I still remember how truly dire things were for a while during 2014-2016 or so. Time truly flies!)
