Yes Hertz RIC went down the crapper... same experience earlier in Sept - Ultimate Choice was killed there and you get to wait in line at the normal gold booth for a car assignment now, even though the lot has a pile of vehicles in the PC and 5* sections sitting there... and they don't want to give you much if anything better than what you reserved, even though as a PC, booking a midsize is supposed to get you pick of anything in the PC area.

Agent behind the gold booth counter said management was annoyed with people booking midsize and picking larger cars/suvs. Absurd if thats the real story.
