SQ certainly is high quality (although I find their seats not to be too comfortable). Given the choice of TATL UA or LH I'd opt for the latter any day regardless of the - in the case of LX and OS arguably - better seat on UA as the LH soft product on all group airlines by far exceeds UA's.
