OK it has now become even worse. I called the BAEC line and they have now quoted me 600 GBP because they are going with today's revenue fare of BOM-LHR J + LHR-BOM F which is much higher than yesterday. ANd so they're now factoring 18% tax on today's fare. This is an absurd joke. I'm at my wits end. How does this arline actually function if they cannot do simple maths. Are they trying to tell me that reward ticket tax components are basically dynamically priced based on the day's fare!?
