  • Asiana Mileage Retention: Even after the merger, Asiana miles can be used separately for 10 years, with existing rules for award tickets and seat upgrades maintained.
  • Mileage Conversion Option:
    • Flight miles: 1:1
    • Partner/credit card miles: 1:0.82
    • Conversion must be all-or-nothing and can be done anytime within 10 years; remaining miles automatically convert after 10 years.
  • Lifetime Flight Records: Asiana and Korean Air lifetime flight performance will be combined, ensuring long-term travelers retain or potentially upgrade their status.
  • Membership Tier Matching:
    • Asiana Gold => Morning Calm(Skyteam Elite)
      Asiana Diamond => Morning Calm Select (Skyteam Elite Plus)
      Asiana Diamond Plus(2 years) => Morning Calm Select (Skyteam Elite Plus)
      Asiana Diamond Plus(life Time) => Morning Calm Premium (Skytem Elite Plus, life time)
      Asiana Platinum (life Time) => Million Miler Club (Skytem Elite Plus, life time)
  • Consumer Protections:
    • Mileage cost for partner credit cards cannot increase faster than inflation for 10 years.
    • Multi-payment with miles (up to 30% of fare) introduced for Asiana.
    • Award seats and upgrades maintained at pre-merger levels.
