In the words of my young son as he stood up at the end of a recent short flight after having boarded first (with a very impressed me - rare occasion where BA IT got group 0 printed right across 2 bookings) down to the exitish row, then had his head in his ipad the entire time: "wow there are a lot of people in economy!"
Since we're in the DYKWIA thread I suppose I can add another story from his first ever shorthaul trip, LHR-CDG, rather predictably - "daddy where are the beds?" - followed by "but what if I get tired?"
I have actually never mentioned the words business or economy or first or club or anything whatsoever to him, that I can only attribute to my wife's unfailing honesty.
One final story for the day, recently sat in the first row of club and notice the plane had first operating as FLUB, the crew notice me staring forlornly and exclaim "I suppose you're usually up there sir!" drawing a hesitant "ah....yes" from me. They Knew Who I Was and Made Me Admit it!
