- Name of the hotel: Novotel Bordeaux Airport (revisit)

- What is your ALL status? Platinum

- Were you (or for multi-stayers were you generally) happy with the hotel/stay? Yes

- Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive? standard double room booked, No idea if i got upgraded but suspect not.

- How are the rooms?
Typical older Novotel style, from the era with the rotating desk. Pleasant but not outstanding. Comfortable bed, but gloomy lighting. Above the empty minibar, a microwave - not seen that in a novotel before (recently at least). Got the feeling they had one spare and though they'd put it in my end of the corridor room.

- What was good and what was bad?
Good:

Arrived late at midnight and while the bar was closed, reception staff were able to at least get my free drink.
If you like that kind of thing, it has a Hippopotomus restaurant.
If you like that kind of thing, the microwave.
The rotating desk still makes me smile (a little).

Bad:
Breakfast room is quite well hidden through the Hippo restaurant and almost in a concealed back room on the left.
While working in the room at around 9.30, housekeeping knocked the room and entered immediately - no chance for me to respond even if i wanted to. I could have used the Do Not Disturb or locked the door, but she could and should have waited at least a few seconds for me to answer.

- Did you get club lounge access? How was the lounge? N/A

- What about welcome drinks, welcome amenities or any other special perks? Welcome drink in the app. Unsurprisingly, no welcome gift.

- Value for $ or Vouchers? Would you return? 105/night including breakfast. seems fair, and probably will return at some point, though there are also the Mercure and Holiday inn also serving the airport not far away
