For at least the past 10 years Truist Bank has been issuing a checking Visa debit card that earned 1 mile per dollar spent. We've just been informed by Truist that this arrangement is ending next year:

After many wonderful years of partnership, Truist and Delta have made the decision to conclude the Delta SkyMiles debit card program. We're grateful you've been part of it - and we're here to make the transition as smooth as possible.

Here's what to expect:

• Your debit card ending in xxxx will earn Delta miles until October 31, 2026.
• We'll waive your next annual fee.
• After October 31, 2026, we'll replace your Delta SkyMiles® card with a new Truist debit card. Your current card will work until your new one arrives, but it won't earn Delta miles.

These changes will not affect your Delta SkyMiles® membership.

Note: Truist will stop issuing new Delta SkyMiles® debit cards on November 10, 2025, but you can still get a replacement card until October 31, 2026.
