Paying triple, quadruple or more for the same room in winter isn't fun, either, at least for people with limited budget like me. I think he was talking about voco DXB Monaco for $40/nt during the summer. That hotel didn't have a lounge, and it looked awfully inconvenient with the boat schedule (and not included), so I didn't consider staying even for that price.

I actually tried to book qsuite saver seats for June this year and next year, QR didn't release seats at schedule open, so I booked for September next year. While it sucks that it's still sizzling in September, and I pay a bit more for hotels than in the middle of summer, it's a bit of compromise when I try to book qsuites. With lounge access and free breakfast, I won't be going out much anyway.

You can't have your cake, and eat it, too. Well, most of the time. I'm guessing hotels are at least bit cheaper in Israel and saver seats may be wide open?
