I made a cancellable reservation at a very low price through a third-party (Super.com) at the Courtyard New York Chelsea for November. I then grew skeptical of Super.com and made a second cancellable reservation through Priceline for the same dates.
Because the Super.com booking didn't provide a Marriott confirmation number, I called in to Marriott to confirm that all was well. The agent confirmed that he could view two confirmed reservations for me on those dates. But then he attached both reservations to my Bonvoy account.
So then I went to Priceline and cancelled that reservation. But I still see two reservations attached to my Bonvoy account a few days later.
Any idea what this agent did or how he messed this up? I don't want to show up and have the Courtyard agent confused which booking to use and check me in to the Priceline one that I cancelled and then have me end up on the hook for both of them.
