I notice some of these restaurants that qualify for the dining credit has gift card so my questions is, has anyone try with success? i.e for the three on the list in MN: mannyssteakhouse.com/gift-cards/. Or baldamar.com

****DP UPDATE 9/30/2025 *****

Purchased a $5 gift e-card on Baldamar.com, and the credit posted successfully. The gift card was processed through Toast, similar to how Resy handles transactions. My conclusion: as long as the restaurant is part of the Sapphire Reserve’s OpenTable program, GC should work just fine, but YYMV. We're in eastern NC and there aren't none of the restaurant from the program are anywhere nearby, so GC is the way to go with P2 and I.
