I'm very interested, although would probably meet the group in TLS rather than join the LHR flights.

I'll certainly vouch for the convenience of the NH, as I spent a night there last fall. The comments from the AI reviews seemed somewhat excessive otherwise though, as I don't remember much about it other than being thankful I was able to check in as soon as I got off the plane from YUL, which might have been a bit before 10AM.

I think the airport taxi fixed fares are now zone-based, although I considered the €35 price to the city centre to be exorbitant given the relatively short distance and otherwise not very expensive nature of the city. I seem to recall waiting and waiting for an Uber or Bolt that never came and then finally breaking down and paying for a taxi. Going back to the airport later in the day, I think it wasn't too bad on the apps. For whatever that's worth.
