the reality is that apart from launch time, food in Chelsea has always been fairly mediocre in my view. Sometimes you get a nice dish or two but it’s less good than AA FFD and less good than what the t7 ccr used to offer.
Literally the only “impressive” side of Chelsea are the guest Champagne and to a relative extent the cocktails - everything else (food, wine, spirits, design, comfort, showers, toilets, etc is very average:
if that really is the best BA and AA can achieve when they join forces, then maybe they ought not to.
Agreed on all points. I’d also add that it is completely lacking any views.
One could argue about the quality of food and beverages served in an airport lounge, but for the highest tier of multiple level lounge offerings to be in a room with no windows is just mind boggling.
