With the impending problems at Silver, didn't fancy a rebooking to a FLL-EWR-EYW routing (though I imagine they would have had to do that given that it was a codeshare). I cancelled on the UA site and immediately received travel credit on the UA site which I reused for a flight in early January booking online at united.com.
