Being a Hyatt partner is not the same as being a Hyatt property. Rio is a Hyatt property (Destination by Hyatt) and elites get full standard benefits. Venetian and Palazzo are not and you only get select benefits if you book through Hyatt. This is the exact same as if you tried to book a Mr & Mrs Smith hotel with FHR, you won't get any Hyatt credit because you didn't book the hotel through Hyatt.
st40611 booked on points and at the error category 0 rate that happed a while ago to Venetian/Palazzo + Mr & Mrs Smith. Resort fees aren't waived, they're just included in the points price since it's dynamic pricing and correctly not charged at check out because it's already been paid.
