Renewed last August, no issue from HKG-YVR-YYZ in July. It’s weird because this is return flight, no issue from YYZ-YVR-SIN last week.
Asked the agent for the reason, she said passport need to swipe again and it applies to everyone… Maybe someone flying AC020 can attest that. Also not sure whether it works differently with transfer
