First time in Hanoi and as luck would have it right during the time of their national day parade/practice. NUA just cleared into a 1br suite lake view. Quite excited to try this hotel. Marriot has been nothing special in the US but it's the first time one of us has used Marriot status outside of the US. We took the 5 extra tier night award to bump to titanium just for this trip alone. Hope staying this far out of town when taxis will be difficult to get won't be a disaster. Worst case is we can walk a ways I suppose. We're mobile.
