Grand/Park Hyatt is ~50m away from Hongqiao train station by subway so it's not exactly super convenient. IIRC ~30m by car if no traffic. No experience with the closer Cat 1s.
Google Maps is several years out of date and almost completely useless in mainland China now.
Apple Maps once in China will populate itself with local data and you'll be able to navigate reasonably well with it. When outside of China, it'll be with a vastly reduced set of landmarks/place locations and reduced functionality, but the road layout is up to date at least.
If you grab Gaode/AMap off the app store it has an English option now and can be used outside of China with full features so you'll be able to locate and plan/navigate fully. Though note the android version is nearly nonfunctional without logging in (need a +86 cell number or some workarounds) while the iPhone version is fine.
