A further update on this, Capital One now also supports transfers to JAL at the rate of 2:1.5 (they are also doing a 30% transfer bonus right now).
I wouldn't say 2:1.5 is particularly good value, but if you just need a way to transfer 2k/year to keep your membership valid it could be useful.
