Duty free inter-Schengen?
I’m flying from JFK to PMI via MAD, arriving T4S departing T4. No checked bags as the MAD-PMI leg is separately booked.
I’d like to buy some wine in MAD as the selection in PMI is worse. Does anyone know if I can buy at the “duty free” store despite onward travel being only domestic? I’m happy to pay the duty, but am concerned about being refused purchase of any kind without an international departure boarding pass.
