Southwest typically has its new planes come from BFI or Everett to PHX without passengers, they work on it for a few days in the hangar, and then after a few days it will be put into regular revenue service. What else are they adding that they want the public to know about?
The actual new Recaro seats aren't out in the public yet; this will be the first. Planes converted to ELR so far (I assume most all 8s/800s by now; original schedule was by OCT 2025) have old seats with "new" headrests (don't know if the headrests are all new, just a new cover, etc).
"Enhance Onboard Offerings" maybe means the "enhanced snacks" for the ELR seats?
