Benefits of CX: better IFE, better lounges (in both DFW and HKG)
Benefits of BR: more consistently good food (if you like Chinese cuisine), more consistently good service, no need to reclear security at TPE
BR western food options are not so appealing, CX may be better there. CX inflight service has definitely dropped a couple notches; a BR win there for sure.
What would make me hesitate with BR is the 3 hour TPE connection; the lounges are really not good and they're overwhelmed during the morning arrival/departure bank.
