LHR-BOS (20:10 Departure)

Quick flight last night with solid service by an experienced crew.

The menu matched the LHR-LAX menu above.

Wine wise, I actually preferred the Gusbourne 2016 over the 2008 Noble, however the 2005 BdB Noble edged both out. The white burgundy had a lot of body / paired well with the apps (including the carpaccio) and the Bordeaux went well with the lamb / dessert.

Amuse bouche after take off. Basically just beets and cheese. We opted to have these to start and delay dining for about 90 minutes.

Jerusalem artichoke soup. Exact same as what is being served in AA F, however the presentation is light years better.

Pre-arrival steak sandwich. I should have passed on this as it was not worth the calories!
