I ordered a gluten free meal on a TA BA flight about 2 years ago as an experiment, and never again. It was like eating cardboard. I can say the same for AA kosher. I am neither gluten sensitive, nor Jewish, I was just curious. Both times I was able to eat in the club prior to my experiment so no problem if it did not pan out.
Having typed that, BA substituted beef cheeks for the pork AUS to LHR Sept 20. This switch was great and unexpected. Worth a try if you get the chance.
