If I book through Alaska or Japan Airlines do you think they will honor it? Since it is a codeshare flight it has both an AS and JL number but it will be HA metal technically. Wondering if booking through a OW carrier would help my case.
Per
oneworld policy, it will only grant access if your same day connecting flights are between long haul and short haul ones. Both LHR-HND and HND-HNL are considered long-haul. JAL policy is more generous but it only applies to JL Group flights, which again doesn't apply to your case.
