I have a US Passport and, as others have noted "nationals of USA do not need a visa for a maximum of 90 days," but what if I - USA Citizen.- have a visa to come to SA for a longer time (say to work, study, live, etc.)?
Initially the paper visa system will stay. I assume in time it'll become an electronic authorisation rather than a sticker.
But to reiterate the point, this is just for nationals who need SA visas, so no USA/Canada/Europe.
