Both airlines leave DFW at night, arrive in CEB around 11am, and require only one 3-hour layover.

The transpacific flight is either B787 (BR) or A350 (CX) which I prefer over planes with an aluminum fuselage.
While I can't compare the two in terms of F&B and service quality, having not flown BR, I can definitely say that CX's IFE will be very superior to BR's IFE. Apparently BR's entertainment selection is weak, meanwhile CX is rightly winning many awards for their IFE, which is the world's best imo.
