Movenpick Kuredhivaru Resort & Spa, Maldives

As there was no thread of this one I decided to start one.

Stayed here last week for a total of 5 nights, breakfast only rate and must say very lovely property.

Positives:
  • Seaplane transfer very well organised by hotel, including lounge access in MLE seaplane terminal
  • Very warm welcome at arrival: dedicated "host" gave us a tour on the island on buggy with coconut
  • Dedicated host can be contacted during your stay for reservations and such through Whatsapp
  • A lot of complimentary activities available on the island: snorkeling (incl. equipment), kayak, supboard, yoga sessions, chocolate hour, ...
  • Upgraded to an overwater villa with better view

Remarks:
  • F&B very expensive (but what can you expect on a remote island?)
  • Attracts a lot of Russian guests - it means that some breakfast options are tailored to Russian cuisine
  • The overwater villas have a piece of glass floor so you can see the ocean through it, but the area at the villas do not attract a lot of fish (potentially due to contamination) - so do not expect amazing views

I have created dedicated shorts of my stay if you would like to see how the villa looks.

I also have a short of the chocolate hour for whoever is interested:
