This doesn't have anything to do with partner flights. Aeroplan can only credit what airlines send to it. AC updating its system to send info to Aeroplan quicker doesn't change anything that UA, LH, etc send to it.
Was the only update on the "AC sending to Aeroplan" side, or was there also an update on the Aeroplan side for how quickly it processes flights that have been sent to it?
