And another note: just like on my Condor flight last year, the remote control for my TV in 2A did not function well. I think it is a permanent problem with Prime seat. And just like last year, the purser offered me any items in Duty Free catalog free, up to 100 EU, for inconvenience. I thought it was a nice gesture.
One more thing: it is better to pay for the upgrade in Euros than in US dollars. The exchange rate on my credit card is much better than is offered by Condor.
never take the exchange offered by any company or ATM and use your CC with no foreign fees. I’m frequently in Canada and they always “offer me a convenience” of exchanging it into my home currency USD. It’s for their convenience and benefit. Not mine. That’s universally true across the world.
