Just note that if you are flying between NAmerica and Australia and hoping to use SQ, you cannot do this as a single award between these two regions except to go to ADL or PER -- neither of which has F service on SQ, just J -- as SYD and MEL are beyond the maximum mileage permitted [25% over the most direct routing between two points]. You would have to use two separate awards, one to Asia, the other Asia-Australia.
Flights should be bookable just under a year in advance.
