Monthly would actually yield more MR points, but I don't want to have to watch for the credit every month.
I chose the annual plan and it came with 4 weeks free so it won't bill until late October.
Renewing in December should be fine, but enrolling as a new member in December might end up using the 2026 credit unintentionally.
